Education

The Foundation’s Education portfolio aims to build a system of, and support the polices that contribute to, well-prepared teachers and leaders who can promote equitable outcomes and the success of all students. When considering potential grantees, the Foundation examines evidence of a strategy that supports growth-oriented, high-quality learning outcomes for all students and the environments that drive those outcomes. This may include attention to one or more of the following elements: data-informed practices, social and emotional learning, English Language Learners, learning differences, cultural and linguistic supports, positive school culture, race and equity, and trauma-informed practices.

To achieve this goal, the Foundation invests in educator and leader preparation, supports, and professional development, as well as policy and advocacy that advance this work.

The Foundation does not accept unsolicited proposals.
